3 DIY FACE MASKS FOR GORGEOUS SPRING SKIN

There’s still a few weeks to go before we’re through with winter and we could not be happier! We are so excited for the warmer weather. Our skin has been through a lot these last few colder months, so to help get your skin springtime ready, we’re sharing our favorite DIY face masks! 

Brown Sugar Scrub - For Glowing Skin!


Brown sugar is a natural, gentle exfoliant and is great for all skin types including sensitive skin and when you add honey you get the ultimate facial scrub for glowing skin. Honey has anti-bacterial properties, perfect for combatting acne, anti-oxidants, great for slowing down aging, and it's soothing.

You will need:

1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of honey
1 teaspoon of coconut oil

Directions:

Step 1: Mix all of your ingredients together in a bowl.
Step 2: Apply the mixture to your face and use small circular motions to exfoliate away dead, dry skin.
Step 3: Leave the mixture on your face for fifteen minutes and then rinse it off.

Avocado Face Mask - Perfect for Soothing Dry Skin!


Avocados aren't just absolutely delicious they are also a natural moisturizer and great for your skin! They're packed with vitamins A, E, B and K and unsaturated fats which helps to nourish and soothe dry skin.

You will need:

1/2 an avocado
1/4 cup of plain yogurt
1 teaspoon of honey

Directions:

Step 1: Mix all of your ingredients together.
Step 2: Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for between 10-15 minutes.
Step 3: Rinse the mixture off and enjoy super soft skin.

Orange Juice Face Mask - For Refreshed Skin!


Oranges are great for all skin types and because they are medium acidity they are particularly good for acne-prone and oily skin. They are also filled with vitamin E which is great for minimizing wrinkles and revitalizing tired skin.

You will need:

1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed orange juice
1 tablespoon of baking soda

Directions:

Step 1: Mix your ingredients together.
Step 2: Apply the mixture as a thin layer to your face and wait for fifteen minutes.
Step 3: Rinse the mixture off and as you do so rub your fingers in circular motions for extra exfoliation.
