Welcome to our very first weekly blog post! Each week, we’ll be providing you with tips and tricks for your hair care regime. Read on to see what we have in store for you this week.
'Tis the season to be jolly, to spread merriness and to wear protective hairstyles. Winter weather can dry out your hair. You may even find that the moisturizing techniques you used in the summer just aren't cutting it in the colder temperatures. A protective hairstyle can help to keep your hair moisturized and promote healthy hair growth. Here are our favorite styles that will have you looking glam throughout the party season.
- Crochet Braids
From faux locs and Senegalese twists to curls or a totally awesome Afro, crochet braids can offer versatility all whilst keeping your natural hair safely braided away. Use five packs of our Freetress Equal Jamaican Twist Braiding Hair to get Vlogger BeautyEnthused’s look. Watch her tutorial on YouTube now.
- Braids or Cornrows
If you have a little more patience you might want to consider jumbo box braids. Because they are larger than micro braids they are much quicker to install. They also look fierce! Alternatively, if you are super short on time you could cornrow your hair in two. If your hair is short, consider feeding in some of our braiding hair to get the length you desire.
The right wig will not only provide you with a fabulous new style for the winter season, it will also protect your hair underneath. Best of all, you can take it off at night and still easily moisturize your hair. Bobbi Boss Mercury MLF160 is a perfect winter bombshell unit!
