Many of us have been in quarantine for weeks now and while some locations are starting to ease their business and travel restrictions, there are still some of us who won't be able to get to the salon for a while still. So in today's post, we're telling you everything you need to know about twists and sharing twist styles that you can create at home! Check out our braiding hair collection to get started on these styles.

Twist Hairstyles

Top Tip: Apply leave-in conditioner, followed by a cream and oil before you twist your hair in any of these styles to seal in moisture.

1. Two-Strand Twist

Wear these as a cute natural hairstyle or unravel the twists after setting them overnight for a gorgeous twistout.

2. Marley Twists

These twists are large--and as you'd expect because of the name--use Marley hair to create them. Marley hair has coarse texture that closely resembles kinkier natural hair.

3. Havana Twists

Havana Twists are bigger than Marley Twists and use Havana Twist hair which isn't as coarse as Marley hair making them lighter despite their size.

4. Senegalese Twists

Senegalese twists can be regular-sized or jumbo but they use Kanekalon hair to give them a smoother look.
